Day 1 > Tirana
Departure to Tirana. Arrival at the Airport and encountering with the local guide. Transfer to the hotel and Check-in. Free lunch. After lunch, panoramic tour of Tirana including National Historical Museum of Tirana and Scanderbeg Square. The city, symbol of the new Albania, has changed several times and is rich of fashionable venues, art galleries and cultural centers. Dinner in restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 2 > Tirana > Fier > Apollonia > Berat (180 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Continuation to the south of Albania. Arrival at Apollonia an ancient town and one of the most important archaeological sites of the country. At the end of the visit, departure for Berat. Lunch in restaurant. After lunch, visit to the beautiful city-museum, also known as the "city of a thousand windows", due to the many windows that are placed one above the other. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 > Berat > Vlore > Porto Palermo > Saranda (225 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning dedicated to the visit of Berat, whose historic center is a UNESCO heritage site. Visit of the castle of Berat, a fortress dominating the city and built in defense of the Ottomans. Visit of the Orthodox Church within the castle and the National Museum of the icons "Onufri" with a rich iconographic collection. Departure to Valona and on arrival, lunch at the restaurant. Trip continues towards the bay of Porto Palermo where we will be able to visit the suggestive fortress of Ali Pasha that rises on a small peninsula lapped by crystal clear waters and connected to the mainland by a thin cliff. Day 4 > Saranda > Butrint > Saranda (60 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Butrint, a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site, located at the southern end of the country that still obtains many testimonies of its past. After the visits, lunch at the restaurant. On the afternoon, panoramic city tour. Dinner in restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 5 > Saranda > Gjirokaster > Durres (260 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Gjirokaster. Upon arrival, a panoramic tour of the city which includes the Castle and the National Museum of Weapons. The city is a true open-air museum, also known as "The Stone City", because of the fortified houses without balconies, but rich in finely crafted windows. Lunch in the restaurant. Continuation towards Durres. Dinner in restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 6 > Durres > Kruja > Shkoder (130 km)
Breakfast at the hotel and panoramic tour of Durres, including the Archaeological Museum, the Roman Amphitheater and the Venetian Tower. Departure to Kruja, ancient capital of Albania and a symbol of anti-Ottoman resistance. Lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon, visit of George Castriot Skanderbeg museum and the Ethnographic Museum. Promenade to the characteristic bazaar. Continuation to Shkoder, one of Albania's oldest and most historic towns, as well as an important cultural and economic center. Dinner in restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 7 > Shkoder > Lezhe > Tirana (100 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic visit of Shkodra including the pedestrian walkway, the Franciscan Church and of the Castle of Rozafa. Trips continues to Lezha. Lunch in restaurant. Arrival to Lezha and visit of the tomb of Scanderbeg, our national hero. Continuation towards Tirana. Dinner in restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 8 > Tirana > Flight destination
